My figurative paintings use the naked human body as an expression of strong emotions brought about by different experiences. This practice has become a form of catharsis, providing me relief and an opportunity to analyze situations in a different perspective.
The process of applying bold strokes and scratching off layers of paint is a physical act of releasing tension, and also shows a sense of movement and energy in the painting.

This playful and colorful style which began in 2014 allows me to paint emotions and moods more creatively. You get to surpass the physical attributes of a person, look beyond the surface of the skin, and discover one's inner personality.

This piece stands alone with its purpose to forgive. In battling the memories of my past, a fallen man is portrayed with a skull of a deer to represent the death of his soul. Painting these haunting thoughts helped me release all the tension built up inside me through time. This work closed my chapter of pain and allowed me to find peace within myself.

This series depicting my own naked body was exhibited at Art in the Park in Salcedo, Makati, Philippines as an exercise for me to reveal myself without shame as I learn to accept myself, my body, and celebrate my sexuality.

This series offers a glimpse of people in solitude accompanied by a strong feeling of melancholy. It was created in 2013 while I was working in a graphic design firm in Manila’s central business district. It had been a year since I left my parents' home to live in a new city and work long hours in the office, resulting to a strong feeling of exhaustion and loneliness amidst the limelight of the city.
